The Siberian Fir tree is a tall, evergreen conifer that is native to Canada and Russia. Growing to about 30 metres tall, it is light in colour and grows flat, needle-like leaves. Siberian Fir essential oil is extracted from the tree’s needles and twigs by steam distillation.
Just like the tree it comes from Siberian Fir essential oil has a pleasantly refreshing, woody aroma, which reminds many people of Christmas. As well as adding a festive fragrance to your home, diffusing this essential oil reduces feelings of sadness and anxiety, helping you to feel more grounded and balanced.
When applied topically, Siberian Fir is helpful for soothing minor skin irritations. It is also ideal for use during a comforting massage, as it soothes the skin whilst promoting feelings of relaxation and creating a tranquil atmosphere. Siberian Fir essential oil can also be taken internally to support several bodily systems.
